Founder Tallulah Daly was born and raised on Bluewater Road in Malibu, CA. An affinity for classic cars paired with a constant questioning of “how does this work?” led Tallulah to pursue an engineering degree. Inspired by Malibu’s tight-knit community of talented, passionate, and considerate people, Tallulah embeds the value of privacy and an appreciation of natural surroundings through her life and work.

After graduating from Malibu High School, Tallulah moved across the country to study computer engineering and business technology at NYU School of Engineering. There, she gained the knowledge and network to set the foundation for her career in software, along with the inspiration to start her own company. After seven years in New York, Tallulah has returned to her beloved Malibu community to begin her next chapter with Bluewater Road Tech and Design. She continues to work remotely as a full-time AVP of International Products for the leading healthcare technology company.

I started Bluewater in 2020 when friends began asking me for web advice during the moment every business suddenly realized, “Oh… our website actually matters.” Many of them ran incredible companies, but web design wasn’t exactly their specialty. Unfortunately, the internet tends to judge a business in about three seconds based on its homepage.
Too often, their websites didn’t reflect the quality of what they actually offered. That’s where Bluewater came in.
I built Bluewater around a simple idea: offer small businesses high-quality web design, development, and SEO help at a straightforward hourly rate—no retainers, no agency fluff, just practical support to get businesses online with a site that actually represents them well (and gets found on Google).
As the digital world evolves—especially with AI changing how people search—I continue investing in the newest tools and training to keep my clients ahead of the curve.
At the end of the day, Bluewater exists for one reason: helping real businesses look as eye-catching online as they are in real life.
